@ianlutz I think the best reference for this would be a book called Galactic Alignment by John Major Jenkins but that is not to be confused with his Cosmogenesis 2012 book which is just about the Maya. The Galactic Alignment book takes a look at many cultures and their understanding of what we would call the 2012 phenomenon - I really enjoyed reading that book and it lead to me seeing the world in a different light that I would have never seen otherwise - love
