Oh, leave a comment please. :)

Paneling is important, so don't skimp on this tutorial. If you are serious about doing comics, learn to do good panels. They are one of the important factors for a good comic. Yeah, I know. Boring, right? But, hey, we have to learn the boring crap to be good artists.

So, suck it up, and learn the sh?t!

Ha.

  • I also said good word for your channel and posted link if a forum that I'm using. I hope this helps you ^.^

  • @silvershine699 Thank you. :)

  • hey Neil I just started learning how to draw so I'm not currently developing any comic or something. I want to do more like anime kinda thing or maybe a manga, comic for a start but as a hobby cause I don't know if I could make a living only from this. Still I have long way to go :( and having university in my head is not helping me with my drawing passion at all. Although I find programming interesting I don't know if I want to be a programmer for the rest of my life :(

  • @silvershine699 There is a lot of money to be made in programming.

  • I'm not planning on doing comics as a living, but as a hobby. I have a couple of good ideas but I don't think I'm ready to draw them yet >.>

  • @Peace91310 It takes a lot of dedication. Much more than writing a novel. Well, it depends on how long the comic is, I guess.

A regular 8 page comic doesn't take long at all. A graphic novel on the other hand will take you a few years. There is no way around that unless more than one person works on it.

  • I am in the process of breaking into comics, and I have 3 books coming out in the spring. One is my own baby, the other two I am under contract from independent publishers on the East and West Coast respectively.

  • I have a comic in mind.

  • you're videos are too long

  • You lied when you said that pannels are boring; this is intresting!! :D

  • Hey there. Been watching your videos lately. I've started writing a comic strip, and may work on a comic book at one point. However, trying to find an artist to partner up with has been rather frustrating, so I'm looking into relearning how to draw so I can do it myself.

    Great stuff so far.

  • NICE tutorials ! Would you please post a video tutorial on how to place the scanned line art in each comic page panel using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. Thank you !
