  • I'm an Australian of Latvian parentage, who fell in love with India's culture just over twenty years ago now, and this is an example of why I am still smitten. One of these days I'm going to get to touch the dust of this sacred land in person. To the land which has borne so many saintly beings, and blessed by the touch of Buddha's feet, I pay my respects - namaste.

  • Lataji has fans, Subbulakshmi has devotees!

  • We in India, miss MS Subbalakshmi for sure. She brought and continue to bring Lord Narayana to our home thru her golden voice.

  • MS's voice is DEVINE, absolutely DEVINE.

  • Despite all fame and prominence availed in privilege, MS was as simple and straight as to do about hours of practice the day of a Katcheri (concert) even during her 70s and 80s. So humble and hard working, divine, and boundless!

  • thank you. This is beautiful.
