Didgeridoo players often wonder what an old instrument looks and sounds like. Here is an example of an old mago that must be at least 20-30 years old. Definitely not machine-made, not drilled or chiseled, this is an old school stick with a voice that rivals more contemporary instruments.

  • You are absolutely right, G. This is far away from any tourist stuff. The look and feel is like a little time machine taking you back to ancient times where the mago was rather found than made.

The playing is much more challenging than with your master yidakis but with some time (and humidity) it opens to show the spirit.

Thanks for picking this one. It's fantastic.
