Pat Hill smiled as he walked into his final news conference to a room full of applause Monday morning, but then the lip quivered as he briefly walked down memory lane.

The former Bulldog football coach spent about 20 minutes talking about the things that were important to him, but took no questions.
--------
Fresno State Director of Athletics Thomas Boeh announced Sunday that Pat Hill will not be retained as the school's head football coach.

Coach Hill and the team were informed of the decision Sunday afternoon.

  • I think some people forget all the good things you did for the program over all the years and focus too much on the last few years. Thank you for everything you did for the Fresno State Bulldog. Job well done. Good luck, where ever you coach next.
