First off, this is not real.I was done as an example IF he banned it, where would we be now. Of course its not his voice, the producers just want to convey what it would have been like, knowing what we know now. I fully agree to open stem cell research so people who are paralyzed or suffering from genetic diseases have half a chance.

yet we still continued on with the research which seems to suggest that try as they might, the president doesnt have the absolute power to ban something like that. SO if you dont like bush's postition on stem cell research, theres clearly a way around it

first, there has not been a ban on any stem cell research. second, the restriction on federal funding for embryonic cell research was first enacted by CLINTON. third, all of the miraculous developments in stem cell research thus far have been with non-embryonic cells, while the research done on embryonic cells has only offered false hope. it's all a bunch of leftist political bullshit, just like the whole climate hysteria.
