i was there today and those market stall holders are still there shouting "two for a pound" and all that and yes there are many musilms there in fact its so diverse me and my friend must have been the only English speaking ppl on the bus at one point but its great market very long it must have gone on for at least half a mile but too many ppl walking around prob so busy coz its weekend not sure about weekdays and there are loads of black british ppl in London who are just as English

@E17bikes Walthamstow is the first time I realized how many Muslims are in the UK. In 1999 I was visiting from California (met a girl over the Internet) and one night I was walking. I saw an open door to a building hanging partially open. I was a nosy tourist, so I peeked inside the door really quick and I saw like 400 Muslims all bowing down in prayer. I really quickly said, "Oh shit!" and back out of there and walked away without turning back. That was in late 1999. I can only imagine now.
