it was the coolest thing and each show was amazing. steve back in the day was untouchable - i have to admit though that when i go to listen to the d dregs or morse records , it makes me sad about deep purple and many of his recent solo albums - just have not connected with them.

never ever get tired of hearing my guitar hero. not only is he a master of so many styles, his speed is always over looked. he lets the melody do the talking, and seems to only throw a speed run in when it fits and helps the song. love the humble approach. so many other players build their entire career around one trait. speed, bending, whammy, etc., morse can never be confused as a one trick pony. the best out there, in my opinion.
