The main research is focus on the simulation of hand-made artwork in 3D animation. The aim of my research project is to explore the methods and issues involved in the simulation of Chinese ink wash painting as a NPR (Non-Photorealistic Render) in 3D animation, in order to makes the rendering result likewise a hand-made artwork. The film, 'Movement and Stillness', is a 3D simulation of the Chinese ink wash painting which produced for my graduate film in Media Design School in NZ 2006.

  • Beautiful work *thumbs up*

  • very good

  • this is amazing! I would also love to see how this was made. do you have a website or a blog?

  • Very very beautiful.

I wonder if these are modelled 3D objects in a virtual environment or wether the 3rd dimensionality of it is actually from computer generation.

The work I am currently engaged in is within a virtual 3D world of animation in Reallusions software.

But I would be interested to see how this was created.

    Its beautiful.

Very well done and I look for more.
