There will be know other like you. Thanks for all you have done, in many ways. News will not be told truthfully again and without a political twist to the right or left depending on who's got the most money. You were the news caster that I could believe because you were not afraid of the politics. Thanks again.

Charlie, you did a awesome job as evening anchor, enjoy life to the fullest!!

Charlie will be missed. I wished Peter Jennings would see this.

Hey Fred,
He is 65 and decided to retire, Why assume/speculate that "has he a disease"??
He stepped down at the top of his game!
-
Why is it his last broadcast? has he a disease? he's not so old... Of course I'm glad for Diane Sawer to be back on World News but it is sad for Charles.
-
He was my favorite news guy. Ever since I started watching GMA in the 1990's. I will miss him a lot. Good Luck and Good Fortune to you Charlie.
-
Bless you Charles, and thank you for all of your hard work. You will be missed. Best of luck to you always.

It will be strange not seeing him and hearing Charlie's voice every night on the news.I'm nearly shedding a tear watching this.Anyway have a nice retirement and you will be missed.
Too bad Peter never got a chance for a formal farewell. I still miss him.
