European Christians united agaisnt the Muslims with the exact same attitude, and we got the Crusades. The Catholic Church had the same fear of free thinkers, and we got the Inquisition. It is that very attitude, fear of the foreign and the unknown, of that which is different, "alien" to us, that leads to wars. Don't you think so?
