After The End - Animation project

This is the roughly 3 minute animation I did for my final animation project of the year, which was to create at least two characters that could be part of a franchise. Being me, it ended up rather weird.

After The End is set in a world where humans are long gone, leaving being a myriad of weird creatures, which are constantly menaced by these robotic "angels" (I never figured a name). In this, it all starts when a strange wraith-like creature called Dormin happens across a broken piece of horn...

You only see three different characters in this due to a) time constraints and b) my laptop only being able to put up with so many polygons at once before it crashes spectacularly. And I'm well away that shadows have gone suspiciously AWOL. I swear seven ways 'til Sunday that shadows were switched on in 3DS Max (why aren't they on by default anyway???), so I've no idea what happened there. I'm also well aware that I've "Gainaxed" the ending (meaning it'll most likely make you got "what?")

Fun fact: the angel's reversed voice is actually part of the poem Zagreus from the Doctor Who audio of the same name. Specifically, the last two lines of the first verse.
