Inspired after watching "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace", we wanted to make a film that was silly, cheesey and stupid, but funny at the same time. "The Policeman's Video Diary" was created, rehearsed and filmed in under two hours. No script, the plot was developed as we went along.
When reports come that the alleged Steelface has got his hands on some "yellow cake", DCI Sir and his faithfull companion DS Landsley must save the world.
This film was made during the time we would've used to work on our other film "Eli & the Tramp" - which will be uploaded soon. Since the main actor was ill, we made this film instead. It was good thing he was ill. If he wasn't ill there would be no film.
CREDITS: GEORGE PORTER as DS BARNSLEY LANDSLEY, OSCAR LANDMAN as DCI SIR, JARRAH SYVRET as STEELFACE, Filmed and Edited by Harry Smith, Directed by Jarrah Syvret, Music by Harry Smith, Music performed by Harry Smith, Merlin Osborn, Paul Wilkinson, with Thanks to Maya Buckley
