Is't your halter a dually halter from Monti Roberts

He's not as comfortable with the whip as you imagine. Look at the difference in his headset, general body shifting, and chewing movements at 1:30 on the video compared to 2:00. An upright, stiff neck, lack of chewing and rigid body posture will cue you that they are on red alert. Just b/c they aren't bolting and bucking does not mean they "aren't bothered by this at all." Always watch the horse rather than the camera so you can look for their responses.

i love the dulley head collers i got one for my young horse when i first got her and she was wild it works wonders!

actually it does the same thing as a longe line without having to deal with the line. a longe line is quite pointless however unless you dont have a round pin.

He's adorable! Nice little trot he's got, too.

aww... hes so cute and handsom also a great listener!
very nice, u and ur horse have a terific bond, he listens and obeys, unlike my horse, who'd kill me if i did that, but i have lounged her b4, but not free lounging, i should try that, and recomendations b4 i start?

I'd start with some lateral longing. The closer you are to the horse, the more control you'll have over their gaits and their attitude! Then, as you progress, work on a longer line. Toby's just a big moosh. Very easy to work with and he's also my big pet!

Yes, Charlotte Church is the artist here. It's an old song called "All the Pretty Horses."
