An antique dealer called Jeff Salmon from London has a similar coffee table for sale & wants £19,750 ($30k) for it! He features in a TV show over here called 4 Rooms (on Channel 4) & he sits next to the table on the show.

@Laverda981 Thanks for that. I searched around and found his web site (decoratum-com). His is the same Lycoming R-680 as mine. I wonder if mine inspired the construction of that one. $30K seems a bit much. You could buy a completely overhauled, zero-time R-680 for less than that.

Hello, Love your video! I also have a Lycoming r-680-17 that I bolted to the front of my shop. Check out on youtube Lycoming r-680,also the removal of the engine on youtube california pickers. How can I tell what year it is? It does not say on the id plate. thanks Mike

@sainthelena1 My engine's data plate had a date of manufacture on it. Your engine's data plate must at least have the engine's dash number (-17?). That may be interpreted by some expert for a general date of manufacture.

Works of art. I will take 2 of those lamps. lol. Although i love how modest you are about them.

@warmfreeze If you like this stuff, check out motoart-com . They make art and furniture out of all kinds of airplane parts.
