Stories of Culture and Place (jasonohler.com/socap) is a digital storytelling program directed by Jason Ohler, University of Alaska. It helps teachers, students and community members use simple, powerful digital tools to tell original stories to promote health, education and cultural exploration. In 2008 it was awarded the WCET Outstanding Work (WOW) award. I was asked to a piece of media not to exceed 40 seconds that described the program. This is the result of that effort. It consists of excerpts from program projects. Music and sound effects are by myself.
