  • Look, I'm not usually mean, and you can rate this thumbs down, but I have to say it:

I AM SO TIRED OF TWILIGHT FANS AT COMIC CON.

They freaking took over Hall H and even though I was dying to see the Disney 3D panel (and got there an hour beforehand), the freaking twi fans took over and the line was CLOSED when I got there.

Sorry to any of you fans out there, I just had to rant about your kind.

  • Twilight is a joke

  • If those women were 40 year old men screaming for 17 year old Bella, someone could call the police. But because there 40 (53 the one was) women in love with 18 year old Edward, it's all okay. Which is why no one takes them seriously anyways.

  • Dude. No. Comic-con too??! Why do twilight fans want to take over conventions? We go to cons to get away from people like this and to be with other people who enjoy this kind of thing. Yarg. I'll admit I do like Twilight to a microscopic extent, I'll still go see Breaking Dawn, maybe a week or 3 after it comes out, but this is ridiculous. Please don't take the place of con-goers at an *mostly, somewhat, I have yet to go to comic con* anime convention of all places! Not offending just ranting lol

  • Over a year ago, I predicted "Breaking Dawn" would be promoted at the Con at some point, and it sure enough became a reality. Protesting will most likely occur at the same time, once this begins.

  • Us Con-goers are fearing what just became a reality. We'll be expecting crowds like this again when they promote "Breaking Dawn" this coming month. At least, this one will be going first on the schedule, NOT in-between other movie promos like the last one.

  • @PorSiempre333. Well, you're right about that. Though when "Twilight" was still relatively new in its early years, it was promoted at Comic Con, but NO ONE knew how much of an annoyance it could become in later years at San Diego's yearly event.

  • @twist58

Yeah, But comic con was never in any danger. Once upon a time, it was an aweome geek thing. It was where we could go and be with other people who still think "Angel vs. Spike" and "Woah, Xena's hot!" Honestly, the Twitards have the rest of the world, can't they leave us alone?

  • I really don't mean to sounds mean. But middle aged moms waiting in line to squeel over a tween book and droll over teenage boys? That's disgusting. It's COMICcon, people! Not Shitty-bookcon. I hust think that Comiccon should come back to Spock vs Chewie, and Xena vs Buffy. Not Edward vs Jacob. Seriously, it's the one thing us geeks can call our own, do you have to take that away, too?

  • Ok so Im worried now. I've literally spent nearly $4000 on a trip to San Diego for me and my bf for CC2010 and now I'm thinking will I even get inside?!!!!!

  • I agree LowphatMelk. After getting up at 5:30 am I had to sneak into the damn line just so I could see the Tron 2 panel (part of the Disney 3-D panel) that I waited a year to see.
