Nintendo Wii Namco Museum Remix: Galaga Remix World 3 Stage 3 & Boss

When Pac-Man lands on a platform of what appears to be the goal, he soon finds himself confronted by the Galaxian leader. Defeating him will take a lot of shooting and timing.

The battle takes place on a large slide that Pac-Man continuously rides on. During the fight, it is useless to shoot the boss as he is surrounded by a force-field. The boss has a pattern in his attacks that once you memorize it can make the battle a bit easier. The boss starts off by firing 2 sets of 4 missiles that have to be destroyed or they will hit Pac-Man. On his second set, he will shoot 3 regular missiles plus one with a scull-like face on it. This missile is indestructible and will home in on Pac-Man but if you shoot it, you will temporarily freeze it. You must continue to shoot this missile until a part later on. During the second part of the bosss attack pattern, he will fly down and try to damage Pac-Man with his pincers. You have to make Pac-Man jump just as he attacks to avoid damage. This is a bit difficult to time and practice is required. After this he will begin to charge a laser attack that is virtually impossible to dodge. (Comment if Im wrong). However, this attack is what you need to damage the boss. If you keep the skull-faced missile mentioned earlier in the battle, the boss will charge up his laser attack, accidentally sucking in the missile damaging him. Once this part of the pattern is done, the boss will send out 2 more waves of 4 regular missiles at Pac-Man, all of them are regular. Afterwards, he will reveal four red lights on his body. If you dont shoot all these lights in time, the remaining lights will break open and enemies will fly out at you sending numerous attacks at Pac-Man that, due to the large amount, are almost impossible to get through without damage. The pattern then repeats from here. Once you have damaged the boss to a point where about a fifth of his health is left, his force-field will break leaving him vulnerable to your shots. However, at this point the boss turns red in anger and begins to shoot many missiles erratically at Pac-Man. Just give it all you got to the boss while defending Pac-Man and you will beat him and win the game.

I wish they would just remake Galaga without pacman with this kind of style... Why did they waste time putting pacman into it

@AaronDLambert To be completely honest, I totally agree with you. It would've been better if they just remade the game like they did when they made the Galaga Arrangement game. I'm not completely against this version though.

@MPCvideostuff Sadly no. It would however be cool if there was one, but the boss exploding is the only conclusion you get in the game.
