NBC Nightly News Anchor Brian Williams reported January 7th 2011 that the Magnetic North Pole is moving 40 miles per year towards Russia; typical movement is 2 to 3 inches. Airport runways are calibrated utilizing a compass and now have to recalibrate their runways because they are 3 to 4 degrees off.

  • @ExplicitBrain well it is a knowen fact that if the poles moved that much in a year, the weather on the planet would be more chaotic then it already is.

  • @slypher2005 I bet you would know, not NOAA scientists.

  • it is bull shit that the magnetic poll moves 40 miles per year maybe 40 cm or mm but not miles, the only time the pole shifts is during an 8.5 or higher earthquake. 2010 Chile's 8.8 shifted the poles by 3 inces and the 2011 China's 8.9 quake shifted the pole by 4 inches. even astophystist Michio Kaku has mentents that.

  • project Snake Freak. look it up.

  • Bushes fault!
