my unlocked phone is bricked...I downloaded software yesterday. I have no idea which firmware I have because I can open phone. I have attempted to restore to 1.1.1 and 1.0.2...just get an error message...am I the owner of an expensive paper weight now? I only use my iphone for surfing and as an ipod..don't need the telephone function...

hey i was trying to degrade my iphone from a 1.1.2 to a 1.0.2 so i can jailbreak it. but i never got the yellow triangle thing, i got a picture of an itunes symbol with a usb plug, and i've tried running apptap but it wont do anything, do you think you can help me?
