I don't smoke weed, I've done it once or twice, my parents have never talked about drugs to me, I've seen loads of references to drugs and it has never made me want to immediately copy them.
TV doesn't produce drug addicts, if you need to censor everything around your child to stop them being a fucktard maybe they are just stupid.
I don't think there's anything wrong with smoking weed, there'd be far fewer problems for everyone if it was legal. Government stop meddling in people's private lives.

Legalize? Not gonna happen. But who cares? People who smoke learned years ago not to trust anything corporate Amerika says, puts us a little ahead of the curve. These "family" council types don't mind their kids subjected to Macdonalds or other junk food ads and one third of American kids are obese. Diabetes kills, heart attack and stroke kills, pot has never killed anyone.

There are TV ratings for these shows you know and if a parent is sitting down and watching Family Guy which I believe has a rating of MA with their child then they can expect MA rated material. And marijuana references are miniscule in comparison to some of the other hilarious potentially offensive moments and remarks on these shows.

Henson looks like she's about to have a breakdown. This reminds me of a quote, apparantly -not- stated by Tim Leary: "LSD is a psychedelic drug which occasionally causes psychotic behavior in people who have not taken it" - and that's what the core of Parents Television Council probably need - atleast once - a tab of LSD, some pot and somewhere beautiful to camp a fwe days, peacefully out in nature.
