New Drugs for Hepatitis C Patients

Two advanced drugs called hepatitis C protease inhibitors now awaiting approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have the ability to fundamentally change the treatment for hepatitis C for patients who have not responded to previous therapies. Both new drugs have been very successful in curing test subjects in clinical trials, which represents a big step forward in successfully battling this debilitating disease.

new drugs will be availabe in next months ... but as an advice to u guys don't wite tell it come . do like what i did .. go to laboratory and do test for you amunization . becoz when the new drugs come ur consultant will choose the perfect druge for u

@alohabeckyjo .. as same as u .. i took pegasys and copgus . after 6 months of trearment i stoped it .. coz the virus has the immunization .. and i read in web site new drugs will be available in next months

@tomcat624u If you disable and on medicare you not going to get any help.Doctors feel that not make enough money from medicare so you loss in the system,they do not care it the money they want. Doctors a wake up call God will not except money think about this do you want money or God.

Im in the hospital right now with my mom who has this. She is in stage four and Im so scared she could die...she has cirrhosis. Do you think I should ask the doctor about this

After almost a year on interferon without clearing im one of the 300,000 waiting for this new therapy. Are the drug companies still squabling about shareing patents so something can be compounded for a cure? I heard the reason this stuffs not out is because some cos claim proprietary claims to a portion of the formula needed in the final drug and everyone needs to cooperate but this could be drug co propaganda, who knows?
