Bob Babbitt and Jonette play Bob's famous bassline from Stevie Wonder's Motown hit "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." Check out Bob's website at www.bobbabbitt.com.

What kinda bass is this? I know it's a Fender, but what one? I love the maple neck with black blocks!

  • I'd like to play together. With my fretless.

  • Bob Babbitt is not under rated! Maybe for your generation? BB is very unique in a world of mostly black musicians doing this kind of music, plus he is world renowned for his playing ability.

I can't say enough good things about this very talented Bassist.

Long live "Funk Brother" Bob Babbitt ...

  • I'm always blown away by the way Bob lets those long notes hang until EXACTLY the right moment, then cuts them off! Sooo good.

  • @shanmag Ham fisted must have rich parents to get Bob Babbit lessons

  • @shanmag The bass is a 1975 Fender Jazz Bass, with a maple fingerboad. The 75 Jazz came with either maple or rosewood board. Fender do a nice re-isssue so check out the Fender website.
