PART 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xr8nZqLcsY0

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Ever wondered how to get that full, soft, luscious, voluminous, windswept, GLAMOROUS hair that grace the heads of celebs on the covers of Cosmopolitan and the like? Now you can! =]

This is the first way I've ever learned to curl my hair- before I knew how to maneuver curling irons and hot rollers; this little gem of an article showed me how: http://www.cosmopolitan.com/style/hairstyles/570365

There are points where you can't see all of my hair or really what I'm doing so I apologize for that; I'm still trying to figure out everything. The article will teach you everything you need to know though.

  • pretty hair! mm its not good to do your hair right after washed hair because the hair is so squeeky clean its hard for them to hold shape. so usually its best to do one day uncleaned hair because theirs natural oil to help it mold better. plus your hair is stripped of oil after being washed so its bad to heat it right after!

  • Hey there. I totally agree- styling unwashed hair does help it hold the shape more. But as you saw, the point is to get tons of volume and it's easier to do that by blowdrying slightly damp hair than day-old dry hair. Plus, the massive amounts of mousse adds tons of hold and body. I only washed my hair every other day so I'm not worried about stripping oils, but if you're concerned, you could also just wet your hair with plain water instead of washing it before trying this style.

  • Can you actually go to sleep with the rollers in and wait till morning?

  • I wouldn't recommend. You don't need to sleep with hot rollers since the heat is designed to curl your hair quickly. I use hot rollers that I let cool down for a bit and leave them in for 10 minutes and even that can be too curly for me sometimes. There are heatless rollers (usually soft ones) that you can sleep in, but I wouldn't recommend sleeping with hot rollers in your hair since it could hurt.

  • Do the clips or pins, whatever you want to call it, come with the hot rollers? Oh, and does it burn when you touch the hot roller?

  • The pins should come with the hot rollers. And they shouldn't burn as long as you don't touch the metal part. Just hold onto the ends.
