Pinch the screwdriver between the jaws of a vise to keep the screwdriver (or in the case of this video, the screwdriver tip, or "blade") from camming out of the stripped screw head. You can usually alos use an "Impact Driver" this is a type of screwdiiver with a inbuit spring and a sprial. You hit it with a hammer to force the diver tip in to the screwhead and the sprial turns it.

That's a very neat idea! I have in the past cut a slot in the screw with a dremel cut off wheel.
