Here's a tip for you to remember the next time you have a stuck or stripped screw that you're trying to remove. Pinch the screwdriver between the jaws of a vise to keep the screwdriver (or in the case of this video, the screwdriver tip, or "blade") from camming out of the stripped screw head.   • smart idea, wouldnt have thought of that one

  • Clever!  A bit of valve-grinding compound will add grip too.

  • You can usually alos use an "Impact Driver" this is a type of screwdiiver with a inbuit spring and a sprial. You hit it with a hammer to force the diver tip in to the screwhead and the sprial turns it.

  • That's a very neat idea! I have in the past cut a slot in the screw with a dremel cut off wheel.
