the fact that its a billet turbo doesnt mean anything about low-end spool..... its the dbb part that makes the difference. even PTE's own ceramic bearings operate the same as old school ceramic bearing turbos.... they're minimally better at spool, thats it
the billet wheel is there to be able to make much more power at higher boost levels in the 35+psi range than a similar turbo with a non-billet wheel such as a 35R
billet wheel is only advantageous in that respect....

@ae86det Yeah, I doubt that is a non-bb. I have a PTE 6262 journal bearing and it didn't spin that easily when I took it out of the box.

This is actually the dual ball bearing unit. I believe precision now makes their own ceramic bearings.
