actually, a butcher knife is most probably one of the worst melee weapons to rely on in a zombie situation!!! stabbing a zombie would do nothing to the zombie, but pierce a hole in it!! it wouldn't do extensive enough damage to destroy the already undead!!! so by the time you've just pointlessly stabbed the cold ass, flesh-eating, rotten dead ass, muthaf*cker, you'll be helpless in it's grips, while it's deciding on what part of you it wants to eat first :-S

Zombies are diffrent in movies, sometimes they know how to run and in some u cant kill them.

Return of the living dead(1985) u can just blow them to pieces
Night of the living dead(just headshoot and slow walking creatures)

the fire stuff is bullshit! zombies are NOT afraid of fire. they are mindless and therefore not afraid of anything! flamable weapons are also a bad idea since they dont destroy the brain quickly enough. they will only result in u being chased by a flesh eating torch.... not much better than a zombie. (in my opinion)
