Here it is, the final level of Splatterhouse 2 for the Genesis. In this level, Rick must escape the mansion, fight off the lake monster, and defeat the Evil One.

The elevator ride is easy once you know where the debris will fall. The lake monster follows a simple pattern, so he can be killed pretty easily. Even the Evil One follows a pattern...for the most part.

I know that many people think the Dark One is near impossible, but that is simply not true. Like all bosses of his era, he follows a pattern. Once you figure out what to do, you can easily fight back.

Notice, however, that once I got him down to his true body, I went kamikaze on him to kill him as soon as possible. At this point, I didn't care about getting hit. I just wanted to finish him before his shield could re-form.

Enjoy the ending.

  • Nice job on beating the game. Now I can kill the final boss easier from seeing this :)

  • If his bat form is giving you trouble, try pausing the game as soon as he starts moving. That way, you can see where he is heading and react appropriately.

  • I thought you were dead when that bat appeared its the bitch of the game

squid music and last boss music is epic (I miss biggyman I'll remember not to kill anybody with a bag on there head with chainsaws again... oh wait RE4

  • The Bat actually isn't that hard, but my nerves are so fried at that point that I just rush it. I don't care if I get hit a few times in the process.

  • I like jennifer just sits there not giving a damn if she gets hit also when she runs away

wait why are we saving her again... oh yeah thats right

  • I suppose Rick feels bad about killing her in the first game, whether she was a monster or not.

  • I guess it's like Dracula's Castle, you completely destroy it, but it can regenerate every 100 years (or in this case, every time it decides to piss Rick off)

  • Crap i had my volume up to 50 and it scared the hell outta me.

  • Ultimate Evil's boss theme is the same as Bellyaches,

and the heads are from the first 2 games (and Possibly the third), They are:

Blood puppet: Second game, Third Level Boss

Wolf\dog : First game, Third Level enemy

Werd...Head..thing: First Game, one of the six heads used in the sixth boss.

Evil one?: 2nd and 3rd game, level 6 in the second, level 5 in the third...
