lmao...I'm sorry...but when you think that pre-season stats make great players...WOW...that's the worst argument I've ever heard. If we based played of pre-season like you just did, we would have millions of terrible guys playing on teams instead of the LT's and Westbrook's of the game. Tavaris Jackson is awful, just look at the regular season, where it really counts.
Jackson is awful? In 2 preseason starts he was 15-22 (68% comp rate) for 200 yards (13.33 yards/comp). He thre 2 TD's and zero INT's. They held him out of the third preseason game as a precaution only. No starters play in week 4. So the stats don't back up your definition of "awful". By the way he may not have been great last season but the Vikes were 8-4 with him, 0-4 without him.
Everyone is going to question Jackson until he proves it in the reg season, but as a Vikings fan I'm comfortable with Jackson. In both preseason games he came out & led scoring drives. He hasn't thrown any INT's. Jackson has played virtually mistake free this preseason. The Vikings don't need much from Jackson. He just has to be able to throw completions when other teams give him man cov (which they will because of the Vikes rushing attack) Nice vid.
Kige said a few months ago his Super Bowl champion is a stunner, meaning he'll probably pick the Vikings to win the Super Bowl. As good as they are, they don't have a good quarterback, and aren't good enough to beat teams like the Cowboys and the Giants in the Super Bowl. And as long as Adrian Peterson stays away from injuries and Jared Allen stays away from trouble, then they'll be okay.
