Westchester County Fair (1980s)

The weirdly countrified ad for the Westchester County (NY) Fair that ran for much of the 1980s. And 1990s. And 2000s, for all I know.

i miss the westchester county fair so much! i was a kid in the 90's and early 00's. i believe in 2001 or 2002 was the last year they had it. the last year they held it my family got into a car accident on the saw mill river parkway on the way there a truck that was on the parkway swerved on our minivan into the guard rails the truck was never supposed to be on the parkway. i'm so sad we missed the last time they had it. so many unforgettable memories and rides i enjoyed i miss my childhood.

Many, MANY memories of going there as a kid. I looked forward to it every year, as Yonkers Raceway used to be a very boring place for a kid otherwise. My first upside down roller coaster I ever rode was that double loop. I think I still have a few unused tickets with that weird clown on it. Remember the clown on the dunk tank who would insult you? "High and dry" he would say.
