Conrad Ruiz is a Los Angeles-based painter. Having only received his MFA late last year, Conrad is already generating a good amount of buzz and acclaim, having shown at Art Basel Miami and been featured on Kanye West's blog, which is something only a few people in this world can say they have accomplished. His massive watercolor paintings depict a world designed by a child babysat by television, melding popular culture with advertisement and classical compositions.
