Ok so if we punish the insurance companies and give Congress power over them, what happens when costs are still high? Congress will loot the insurance companies and redistribute them to their voting blocks. Rates High- Doctors must bill according to Medicare rules, which causes insurance rates to go up because costs are passed to private insurance. Insurance rates rise in direct proportion to the number of laws on the books controlling medical decisions.

I was there, in fact they have me in that video clip. What it doesn't show is that people were shouting over the people in front of them to prevent her from even talking to the people sitting at the the table she was trying to talk to.

I was there. For most of us this was the first chance to talk with the congresswoman. We crowded into the Safeway entryway hoping that we would have the opportunity hear her position on HR3200 and be able to ask questions as to our concerns. There were too many of us to see her individually in the one hour allotted, and only wanted her to speak to the crowd. When she got up we thought she was moving the venue outside to be able to talk with us all, but alas that was not the case, she left!

Shows how much regard these elitists have for the voters. My mom was at this meeting. It's a little hard to understand what happened but the breakdown is that the people wanted Ann Kirpatrick to listen and answer questions publicly. Ann refused. She wanted to sit and talk one on one with people-which is fine but she did not have enough time to talk to everyone. Also, the people had a lot of the same questions regarding health care etc. Ann walked out after a lady insisted Ann answer her so everyone could hear.
