  • Hi:) How would you describe the difference to the sound as you eliminate the NFB?

  • Less "polite". More easily breaks up when you play hard. Little bit more hum as well. Definitely a worthwhile option.

  • how do you like the holdsworth model?

  • love it. Seems they've changed the specs which is a shame, this is the one with a huge neck and 20" radius fretboard.

The woodwork is excellent, but the electronics are shit. I replaced all pots, switches and pickups almost immediately.

  • the problem with the 6g2 is the phase inverter. It's a cathodyne which means the output tubes are driven by one tube section. The deluxe 6g3 has a long tail PI which means each output tube is driven by it's very own tube section. It makes a huge difference.

  • Another nice job! Love your cabinets. :^)
