Confused About Jason's Decay, Friday the 13th

WARNING: For those of you who have not seen some friday movies, there are some spoilers.

Camp Crystal lake's one and only Jason Voorhees is a horror legend. And I'm about the weird way he rots. This isnt a series matter, just thought it was weird

what bugs me is how he looks better instead of worse. in part 7 he was rotten had bones showing his clothes were destroyed and in part 8 besides having grey skin there was nothing wrong with him wtf?? im also bugged about his clothes. he was chained to the bottom of the lake in his classic green shirt and grey pants, then starting part 7 he's wearing blue coveralls. does anyone remember jason wearing fuckin blue coveralls? im a continuity geek and these inconsistencies piss me off...lol

Well, I wouldnt go as far as calling his green shirt and pants "classic", its not like wenever we see that outfit together we all go "hey look! its Jason's clothes!", but I can see your argument, yeah his clothes did change a bit, but I guess back then if there was a hockey mask and dead teenagers, everyone was happy

He gained the regeneration ability after part 8

in JGTH it shows the book of the dead in the voorhees house so i think that mrs voorhees got it to find out how to bring jason back to life and the only way she could was to sacrifice 13 souls at camp crystal lake. so she killed 12 and her death was the final so jason was brought back to life with the ability to regenerate. so inbetween part 8 and JGTH there was enough time for jason to regenerate enough tissue that he got his bumpy head apearence back that grew over his hockey mask in that time

After part 8 Jason transformed into a different type of being. He steadily decayed and then the transformation took place. There is throughout history a line of thinking about transformation of the human into something different. This is particularly evident in Alchemy but many other systems as well.

i guess classic was a poor choice of wording, i should have said original outfit that he wore with the hockey mask. i know in part 3 he changed from the overalls and plaid shirt to the clothes he wore from part 3 onward but it actually showed wear he got the clothes from. its not the same as being chained at the bottom of the lake in the clothes he was buried in and then suddenly he's wearing blue coveralls.

i know its such a lame thing to pick at, it just gets on my nerves..lol
