Instructions:
Driver: San Francisco - How to Use Unsupported Steering Wheels!

1. Run "dxdiag.exe"
2. Click on "Input" tab
3. Find your steering wheel under "DirectInput Devices"
4. Remember your steering wheel's Vendor ID and Product ID
5. Browse to Driver: San Francisco installation folder
6. Open "Input" folder

If Logitech:
7. Open "0x046d" folder
8. Copy "0xc295" folder or "0xca03" folder
9. Rename "0xc295 - Copy" or "0xca03 - Copy" to your steering wheel's Product ID

* 0xca03 - Momo Racing Force and 0xc295 - Momo Force

If Thrustmaster:
7. Open "0x044f" folder
8. Copy any folder (choose the one that is most similar to your steering wheel; Product Ids and their associated steering wheels are stated below)
9. Rename the copied folder to your steering wheel's Product ID

0xb659 - Universal Chalange 5-in-1

If other brands:
7. Create a folder with your steering wheel's Vendor ID
8. Open "0x046d" or "0x044f" folder (try the other if it doesn't work)
9. Copy any folder (Product IDs and their associated steering wheels are stated above)
10. Rename the copied folder to your steering wheel's Product ID
11. Cut and paste it into the folder with your steering wheel's Vendor ID

Final Step! Play the game to set up your steering wheel
Ensure you have "Pedals Reported As Combined" unchecked under your steering wheel's properties in Control Panel.
If your steering wheel does not work when you start the game, Alt-Tab to desktop or go into Shift mode and return to the car a few times until the steering wheel works.

@danijg110 real video, just at a high speed that would turn a bit, the wheel must povarachivat much more degrees than a slow ride.

hi, how did u configure the game/windows? i got logitech driving force gt too but driving in game is totally fucked up. i tried one solution but it pedals still don't work correctly. can u help me?

@00marvin pedal can be configured in the settings of the joystick X box, then they will work as needed.

Thanks for the info. Although I still have a problem with my Logitech Driving Force GT. The Accelerator pedal works as a brake. I tried everything: switching pedals combining on and off, using different control sets, inverting and changing axis function. I also edited the files in the Input folder, but to no avail. The best I achieved was to make car accelerate continuously :)

Any idea what to do? Anyone had similar problems?

I forgot how horrible the FFB is with logitech wheels vs Fanatec CSR or 911. Fanatec = quiet and way more realistic. I can't stand the whining of logitech wheels... bleh.
