Just a little video on some of our fun in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia. Including how we got up and down such a steep hill, even with all wheel drives..

  • cool, how did the kia handle the terrain? was it the least capable of the 4?

  • Mate, the Kia was sensational, because it is so light, it just drove over everything. We have even taken one through the Simpson Desert, over 2,000 sand dunes and didn't get stuck once (had to roll back down a few for a second go but all the trucks needed to do that a couple of times). It was a little rougher to drive but definitely kept up with the larger trucks. All we did to it was a 2" lift to fit some aggressive rubber under it.

  • thanks for the reply.

that sounds very impressive. in the states, the kia isn't considered a "real" four wheel drive, and it is treated accordingly.

was the suspension lift custom? old man emu?

enjoy your vids, would be even better in high def!
