Around 8:40pm tonight a Red Honda Civic hit this car at the intersection of, Mountain Road and Vaughan Harvey Blvd, and took off . Codiac RCMP were on scene and they had a partial plate. A Eye Witness told me that the car took off down by Vito's on Derby Street, going through side streets and at one point stopped to get out and check the damage , the driver of the Honda, telling the witness that he was from Rogersville in a heavy French accent , and he was loaded drunk , there were a few other people in the car . Last he seen them, they were on Belmont Street, hiding the damaged vehicle behind a house . Police searched the area , but the Honda managed to slip away, FOR NOW ! because the RCMP have the right lic. plate from a citizens tip . UPDATE the RCMP caught up with the Honda in his home town.
Another accident just before 1am on Queen Street , where a vehicle took off, NB Power was needed a pole with transformers damaged closing off Queen from Church to Alma around 1:20AM , a vehicle with showed up at the hosptial with someone looking for medical attention that was just involved in a accident .

  • Man if you get involved in a DUI and its your fault. lose driver license for ever, 10,000 fine and 10 years in jail. This should be if you do not kill someone. Lets see how many people would drive drunk then.
