October 1962. Caribbean crisis emerged. As a response to Soviet missiles installed on Cuba, the United States started blockage of Island of Liberty.
Tensions in opposition of nuclear powers were rising. Soviet strategic bombers were moved to borders of the country. Closer to targets in Europe and America. Readiness was the highest.
At those days every participant of these events had inhuman tension. Even non full understanding of capabilities of nuclear weapons was presenting horrible picture of consequences of its use. The world was before the World War III...
Following aircrafts are featuring in this film: TU-4, TU-80, TU-85, TU-82, IL-46, TU-16, M-4, 3M, TU-95, M-50, TU-22, TU-22M, TU-160, T-4.

This is a documentary of "Wings of Russia" studio about history of development of Russian Aviation. It contains a lot of unique video footage. The documentary speaks about creation and development of fighters, bombers, helicopters, reconnaissance planes, hydro-planes, planes of civilian Aviation and also about sport and training Aviation, in the USSR and Russia.

omfg this is such a great documentary, I've never seen such a good, big, unbiased and accurated documentary about Soviet/Russian aviation before, and I like the narator's voice, it's very clear to listen to, thx for updoading it, sorry for spamming but because I love it!!!
