Nick Asford obviously didn't need a Tammi Terrell sound-a-like for this late 60's outing on Verve, so he did it without his other half, who was probably recording The Onion Song at the time. (meeow)

It didn't do much commercially, though Ray Charles did a cover of it a couple of years later.
