My mother went to this school. so did my aunts and uncles in the 90s. They always told me how bad it was and how they fought so much trying to defend themselves. If the right people step up and help I bet all this stuff at Miami Edison is gonna end, but of course I only hear whats wrong over there and whats wrong with the kids. Never do I hear they made some improvements to help them out!

This week the Miami Herald reports that Edison High has failed to meet federal standards for improvement under the No Child Left Behind law. Proficiency levels in reading and math stayed well below statewide averages, as did the proportion of students making learning gains. The State has recommended closing the school. But of course out of a misplaced politically correct sympathies by the local school board, this open drug market, substituting as a school will remain open.

OK I'm sorry. It was failing, it came up from a F to a D school this year. Its still one of the worst high schools in the state academically. The students can't read, write or do basic math. After the riot local news interviewed five students, not a single one of them was capable of speaking correct English. The only thing that school produces is gangsters, illegitimate babies, and welfare mothers.

Don't believe the news. Throwing soda cans? From what soda machine? There isn't one. Throwing chairs? There are no loose chairs in the cafeteria. People don't know what they are talking about. This is a cover-up.
