hey i got the foot switch and im having trouble, with it plugged in i only get a clean, even when 1 is depressed . but i put the cable 1/2 way out it works. whats up with that???

someone else will hafta answer cause i've never played that other one, but i usually don't like the sound of peavey amps, not even satriani's custom ones

This is just the Crates effects? I have the GTD65 and it's completely useless except to run a pedal through the clean channel. The blue channel is kinda ok, but the overdrive and distortion sound like it's broken, maybe it is... you sure your not using a separate effects footswitch?

haha yeah man, this thing sounds sick, you prolly just got a crappy broken one or something cause this is one of my favorite amps i've played. i also love just about any line six over like 300, cause they're all the shit
