The NBA draft class of 1996 is often considered among the best, along with 2003. The draft featured MVPs (Allen Iverson, Steve Nash), Champions (Kobe Bryant) and numerous All-Stars (Stephon Marbury, Ray Allen, etc.). The video showcases three of the draft's most electrifying guards that continue to this day break ankles and make posters.

  • I'd say 3rd best draft after 84 and 03. I'm a little disapointed in the lack of Nash highlights on this video. I know he's not much for the highlite reel but he is a 2 time NBA MVP and will be a first ballet hall of famer, and will most likley be considered a top 50 player when all is said and done.

  • i definitely woulda added Nash highlights but i didnt have any at the time.

and your definitely right, nash is one of my fav players, along with Iverson

  • What the hell is with Marbury being mentioned. He is an over rated ball hog that can't get along with anyone.lol

  • marbury is a great talent that is just in a tough situation. im not gonna lie, his teams havent performed well, but that doesnt mean he doesnt have any talent

  • where was nash, jermaine oneal,ray allen,kerry kittles,marcus camby,antoine walker, erick dampier?????????????????

  • give me highlights of all those players and i will make you a mix for christmas.....

  • Why didn't you just call the video, Kobe Bryant, Stephon Marbury, and Allen Iverson Tribute or something like that? You did this video no justice by dedicating it to a draft class that had so much talent.

  • iverson, camby, abdul raheem, marbury, allen, kobe, nash, dampier, jermaine oneal, stoyakovic dang the 2nd best draft by far

  • @canukmark096 i would say that its the second best draft class. '03 are bunch of creeps except for dwade.....

  • @agaynars yup! there shoudln't really be a debate.

  • @canukmark096 totally disagree I don't know what to say about the 84 draft but this one had more star power and raw talent. It really carried the NBA throught the post jordan era!

  • this draft produced the 2nd most talent ever in the nba history

    . 03 draft < 96 draft

  • howard wasnt in the 2003 he was in 2004

  • Fair enough man, quick little Iverson story for ya. Gordy Cheesa, who has worked with literally the majority of the NBA and is a master genuis at scouting NBA talent has said that Iverson is by far the best pure athlete he has ever seen. He told us that at a pre-season camp back in 01 they had them all run a mile in their street clothes and Iverson did it in around 4 min.
