Had a lot of fun just standing there on the street wiith my handycam watching all the beautiful smiling people pass by me. The people are so warm and friendly that you only need to look at them to get a smile. Even foreigners there are happier than when they are in their own countries. Its hard not to be happy there!
Thankyou for the smiles Viet Nam, You made feel comfortable and happy when I was there.

  • hahahaha that happens sometimes to me too... Thanks for your comments

  • howddy,

Thanks for the very pleasant video!

can you tell us about the hardware and software that you used for taking and editing it?

P.S. Go to Hanoi and see for yourself, don't believe the gratuitous gangster's comments!

  • Hi Thanks for watching..

The camera is a Sony HDR-HC5E I use a freeware program called HDV-Split to get all the individual clips from the camera to my harddisk then Womble MPEG Video Wizard to edit the video and save it in a rather large HD format for use on my PC and and a smaller Dvix version to uplaod to youtube.. I had trouble when I first got the hdv handycam. None of my programs could edit HD even the supplied software that came with the cam couldnt fo anything with it. Contined.

  • The above combination of programs is what I found works great after a fair bit of research on the net,, The software above is cheap, works very well and is easy to use.

    Hope this helps

  • u said vietnamese people are friendly and warm :| . that's not true lol . some Hanoian people are very rude to the foreigners.

  • Hahahaha I havent been to Hanoi yet!

I'll keep an eye on them when I go there.
