Ah, what crazy stuff you can find when just keep trying out random neighborhood codesearch for long enough.

This is an old video, made in 2005.
I'm cleaning up my webspace, and putting up all those vids that previously were only on my website (and a billion other ones, uploaded by random people) on Youtube.

You're right, asides from switching the autopilot on and off and switching camera perspective at one point

I do remember that this vid still took a number of takes till it went right, though that was mostly due to either unfortunate results of the opponents interfering, or the video capturing device breaking down in the middle of the recording ^^;

I once got something like 4 auto pilot powerups in a single 3 laps race on wipeout HD... I felt like the auto pilot won the race, not me o.O
