Ignore the annoying bugs; here's a quick clip of Ampex's portable Ampex BC-100 camera in action, at the November 11, 1967 UCLA-USC game--which I had thought was a VR3000 2" quad camera-and-tape unit but was mistaken. Funny the things you find if you DVR enough old television. Supposedly the cameramen called this the "backbreaker." This is the smallest that quad VTRs ever got, I believe.

  • I would love to see someone post videos of other TV cameras here, like RCA's TK-41, TK-44A, and their portable TK-76.

    I wonder if the cameraman in this video has a good chiropractor..looks like he might need one!
