Best scene on the planet! Seriously, Asa and Kiriyan could run for president using this as their campaign promo and win, just because they're so charmingly hilarious! ("Earnest" is one of my favorite stage plays too, so when I found out that Takarazuka had a musical version - especially one with Asa and Kiriyan! - I just about died laughing...)

Now I laugh every time I even hear the word "muffin"...

Today I watched the film version of The Importance of Being Earnest with Colin Firth as Jack and Rupert Everett as Algy for the first time, and laughed out loud at the muffin scene, because I kept thinking about this scene...

I actually prefer Asako and Kiriyan as Jack and Algy to Firth and Everett, and I LOVE Mihoko as Gwendolyn. I think that Ai and Reese Witherspoon are tied in my mind, because they're both fantastic as Cecily.
