This documentary is amazing. My best friend has been in a chair since 2007 as a T5 paraplegic from an accident, and introduced me to it. I firmly believe that EVERYONE should see Murderball, regardless if you or someone close to you is in a chair or not.

One of my good friends got shot while she was in Afghanistan and was paralyzed as a result. She was saying for a while that she wished she could just end her life, because she felt she had no purpose. I found this documentary and showed it to her. By the end of it, she was crying and saying "Goddamit I want to live!"

one of the perennial pub conversations in america and europe is "whats the hardest contact sport,rugby or gridiron?" after watching this movie when i hear that conversation next im gonna holt the conversation and say "your gonna have to ad murderball to that argument!"....cos it is one hard as nails sport!!
