Dude, that unit has an under sized ll filter drier....hardly anything as robust as a burn out drier.-

@turtle4aire no wonder goodman sucks. I dont even know why they make units. People like you and this guy on the video should retire and leave the young ones to take care of things.

the goodman condenser unit comes with a burn out liquid drier installed inside the unit and you should not install 2 drier in one place to restrict the flow of freon.

I have 40+ yrs in the hvac and refrigeration business with my own company speaking here and retiring now.

Now your point of a Suction line drier. If is not a burn out or no problem change out. Goodman will tell you can leave the Suction line drier off if you like but still open for debate.

Ugh, swaging punches. Swaging is alright, but can weaken the wall of the tube (must be considered for soldering. I prefer couplings since some now even come with solder in it (just clean tubes, fit and heat).

Yeoch! I don't like to use knuckle busting swagging tools. I paid the $100 for a good set.
