what's the worst that could happen, you have extra food and a good flashlight. Being prepared is always a good idea and if nothing happens...hooray! If 2012 really is a universal event designed to wipe out humanity for a new beginning, then I don't think any person will survive despite how deep their cave is and how big their food supply is.

Trying to survive the end of the world, or humanity is a mock to the earth. Doing your best to survive is a natural instinct so I can see why some people are preparing for the worst.

Anyway, this could be really intresting.
