So if I'm understanding this corerectly you have the Z64 running games off a HDD rather than optical media? If this is true can I ask you where I would find information on getting this going myself?

What mod? This is a gold Nintendo 64 sold at Toys R Us, and a gold backup device. These are off-the-shelf devices.

@arceus9000 Lets you backup your cartridges to a Zip Disk (CD-R's work too) and play them from those. If you're familiar with emulators, you find the extension of some roms as Z64 or V64, the Z64 extension means that the rom was made from that Z64 unit, if it's V64, it came from a similar unit called the Doctor V64.
